| We need to increase the funding for operating expenses of our state agencies. We need enough qualified staff to adequately serve the people of this state. Government needs to be able to function in a timely and efficient manner. By cutting state budgets, government stops functioning and will not work. | |||
| I would push for more funding for public education and developing a better aid formula for each district. I would oppose any public funding for private schools. Keep public money in public schools. Remove public education funding from property taxes and develop a progressive school income tax to fund K-12 and higher education. |
